Gabrielle Wyatt Receives the Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellowship Award

Congratulations to PhD candidate Gabrielle Wyatt for receiving the Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellowship Award for her outstanding research accomplishments and significant potential for further contributions in a faculty career. By studying the diterpenoid diversity and biosynthesis of the bioenergy crop switchgrass (Panicum virgatum), she hopes to improve sustainability in agriculture. “This fellowship is going to help me transition to the next stage of my career,” said Wyatt. “I am looking forward to expanding upon the functional genomics and metabolomics training I received in the Zerbe lab while developing new skills in the Kliebenstein lab to investigate the regulatory mechanisms that drive the spatial organization of metabolic pathways.”
